“ This restaurant accommodated nine of us. Reservation suggested. Food was authentic and tasty (I got the chicken Tikka with veg added and others got the Bengal special and lamb biryani--all were excellent). Appetizers were great as well. The mango lasse was delicious--highly recommend. ”

“ I remember regularly going to The Bengal Restaurant as a kid in the 1970s and 1980s. This was when the restaurant was at the old location on Queensway. Tandoori Chicken, Mixed grill, naan, Lamb Bhuna Ghost and a glass of bitter lemon. good quality, affordable and consistent food. I remember it well. We had our favourite waiter who used to take care of us, tall, skinny chap, always wore a white coat, with a pen on his lapel. I think his name was Souman. Wonder if he’s still there… ”

- Suresh Kumar -

“ Definitely my favourite place, that I have already visited many times. I would like to mention a very high quality of all products and especially meet. The portions are very big , so I always take food takeaway, which render my each visit very abundant. At the same time, the price is wonderful, not overpriced! Thank you to the Bengal and all workers and owner, for taking care out of clients. ”

- Danelya Rashidova -

“ Super friendly service & great selection of items. Prices were really reasonable. Butter chicken tasted more like a korma, but was good. Saag chicken was really good. ”
